The Dreaded Scale - TAKE MEASUREMENTS!

The Skinny from Dr. Z

Look, the scale doesn't tell the whole story. In fact, in my opinion, it can do more harm than good. Kylene and Judi have much more to say about this than I, but my advice is this - Focus on making the right choices. Focus on planning your meals. Focus on reflecting upon the things you ate in the past that necessitated a weight loss plan and eliminating them. You can't address bad habits until you know what they are. There are plenty of things to worry about that are withing your control, the scale is not one of them so don't waste time with it.

Kylene and Judi's tip

THE SCALE LIES!!! Stay off of it. The number on that scale is not the goal that should matter. Take your measurements. They are a true picture of your weight loss journey. Measure your thighs, hips, waist, bust and arms. Track the changes in your body. I went from a size 20 to 12 in my very first round, but I lost less than 18 pounds. I lost 35 inches total. More inches than pounds. I looked like I had melted. Do not focus on the number on the scale.
